Created Differently, Known Completely by God

Everybody is created differently by God. God created each of us with intention—my children, my siblings, you, and me. No one is made the same. Not in personality, not in emotions, not in how we process life or relationships. And that difference is not a mistake. Sometimes the discomfort we feel inside doesn’t come from others—it comes from a quiet struggle within ourselves.

Maybe you are feeling unsettled right now.
Maybe you feel the need to control someone you love.
Maybe there is something about yourself that you don’t like very much.
Maybe you don’t even fully understand why you feel the way you do.

When that happens, I gently encourage you not to look outward first—but inward, with God.

Instead of focusing on that person, that relationship, or that situation, take a moment to pause. Create a quiet space. Just you and God. Because God knows you more deeply than anyone else ever could. He knows where that feeling is coming from. He knows the root, not just the surface emotion.

Turn on a gospel worship song.
Let it play softly.
Soak in it.
Let your heart slow down.

Sometimes we think we heard from the Lord—but waiting a little longer brings clarity. Reconfirmation helps. God is not in a hurry, and He is not confused about you or your situation.

When we wait on the Lord, He gently shows us:

God speaks truth about who you are—not what the world says, not what your emotions say in the moment, and not what fear whispers.

So today, choose stillness.
Choose worship.
Choose to focus on your relationship with God alone—even just for a little while.

Because when your heart is aligned with Him, everything else begins to fall into its rightful place.

Be still.
God is with you.
